“How is transportation arranged on the Day of Admission?”
The hospital discharge planner will arrange transportation, unless other arrangements are preferred.  If a resident comes from home, the responsible party usually arranges transportation.  If you require assistance, please contact the Admissions Office.

"What can I expect the Day of Admission?"
One of our qualified admissions members will greet you and your family and show you to your room.  We will ensure you are comfortable, and your family may begin settling your personal items.

"What are the medication policies?"

Safe, reliable and economic methods are all used to dispense medication at The Rehabilitation & Health Care Center at Village Green.  Medications classified as non-prescription and over-the-counter are prohibited.  North Carolina regulations prohibit any medication from being stored in a resident's room without a physician's written order.

"Will I require an attending physician?"

Each long-term care resident will require an attending physician during their stay.  The Admissions Office maintains a current list of available physicians for your reference and convenience.

"How is Medicaid eligibility determined?"

Long-term care residents' Medicaid eligilibility is determined by state regulations.  The Rehabilitation & Health Care Center at Village Green is a Medicaid Certified Facility.  Please contact the Social Services office for Medicaid application details.
